Date night

florals

I’m dressed up in Scandinavian design for a dinner date with my boyfriend. I love the beautiful floral pattern on this dress from FWSS together with my elegant and comfortable new flats from Gestuz.

June DIY

The waistband on this dress was a little too tight for my comfort. Because the elastic band was stitched in place, I had to remove and redo one of the waist seams. Then I replaced the old elastic with a longer one. I also secured the fold on the sleeves a little better so it stays in place.

This was the first project this year where I had to use my sewing machine. I wanted my DIYs to be low effort and manageable to get me started. But now I’m back in the game and ready for bigger projects.

Saturday shopping

mix

I finally got myself some Summer shoes! These are flat slingbacks from Gestuz. White is not the most practical colour, but I think it’s the most versatile. And I prefer to have only a few pair of shoes that I can wear with most of my wardrobe.

Nothing beats a vintage dress for a day in the city. My little blue bag is also vintage from Bygonefashionbyjane (Etsy).

Sunday is my funday

pink

It’s a rainy Sunday and I needed a bright outfit to cheer me up. These amazing jeans are from LilysLockUp (Etsy), and the sweater from WearitWellvintage (Etsy).

I love to dress monochrome and that’s one of the reasons I have a colour scheme. With a selection of clothes in a particular set of colours, I can easily match my tops and bottoms with each other.

Summer blues

I wore this outfit the other night to see a movie with a friend. The skirt is from UFF Vintage Heaven in Oslo. I love the maxi length and the fact that it came with a matching belt!

My tan leather bag works as a contrasting element to the otherwise blue look. The silver earrings are from IvyLilyVintage (Etsy).

Running errands

black & white

This is my other vintage Coach bag, a #9826 mini belt bag in black from vintageair on Etsy. With my comfortable black jersey dress, it’s a simple and practical outfit for running errands.
